I am a partner in the Commercial Property/Real Estate Team. I specialise in Property Development transactions and acting for SSAS Pension Schemes.
Property Development:
- Niche specialism in Airspace Development, otherwise known as Rooftop Development
- Specialist in ground-up Property Development acting for both acquiring Developers and disposing Sellers in respect of their Property Development projects.
I act primarily for developers in the acquisition of airspace above existing residential blocks and commercial buildings for the purpose of the development of residential flats. My expertise means I’m equally comfortable acting for sellers of airspace, often freeholders of residential blocks of flats seeking to realise the value in their property by selling their airspace to developers. I’m well connected in the Airspace Development sector and add value to my clients through introductions to my extensive network of professionals, funders, advisors and, for sellers, specialist Airspace Developers.
Pensions:
- Specialist in advising Members and Professional Trustees in respect of their SSAS pension matters:
I act for SSAS Pension Schemes and understand and advise on the nuances of SSAS requirements in respect of both property transactions and SSAS Scheme requirements. I also advise Professional Trustees in respect of their obligations in respect of the SSAS Schemes of which they are Professional Trustee offering a holistic service that goes beyond dealing purely with property matters.
We are conscious that the legal services provided to SSAS Schemes are an extension of the Professional Trustees’ service and I seek at all times to reflect the service levels and values offered by Professional Trustees to their members, to protect their reputation and their brand. I’m always happy to have discussions with Professional Trustees as to how we can best facilitate their Schemes’ needs in respect of legal advice and tailor our service to the best fit.
