Paul qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and trained and worked at Clifford Chance LLP for eight years before becoming a partner in Cameron McKenna LLP and subsequently in Orrick Herrington LLP/MNP.
He is a transactional solicitor and specialises primarily in corporate transactions for both private equity and PLC clients. Paul has worked extensively for clients in the energy and telecommunications sectors delivering large investment and project finance transactions including projects in Qatar. He has also taken on general counsel roles and quasi general counsel roles for international corporations.
