With almost 30 years’ experience in private client law, Dan advises individuals, families, trustees, high-net-worth individuals and landed estates on a wide range of personal, succession and wealth preservation matters. He spent four years in the Trustee Department of Coutts & Co. and, for the majority of his career, has led private client teams as either a Partner or Director.
His expertise encompasses all aspects of private client work, including Wills, trusts, succession planning, estate and inheritance tax planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters, Deputyship applications and acting as Deputy, estate administration and charitable matters. As a Notary Public, he also assists clients with a broad range of domestic and international legal requirements.
Drawing upon extensive experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families and landed estates, Dan provides pragmatic, commercially aware and sensitive advice tailored to each client’s circumstances. He is particularly valued for his ability to guide clients through complex personal and family matters, often across multiple generations, helping to preserve wealth and achieve long-term succession objectives.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family and remains a proud long-distance supporter of Aberaeron RFC, who compete in WRU Division One West.
