Kayla is an Associate Solicitor specialising in complex and high-value commercial dispute resolution, with particular expertise in insolvency, international arbitration, intellectual property, real estate disputes, and contentious probate. She acts for corporates, insolvency practitioners, global real-estate groups and high-net-worth individuals.
Kayla has managed a wide spectrum of contentious matters, including claims involving breaches of fiduciary duties, bribery, urgent injunctive relief, Norwich Pharmacal applications, and summary judgment proceedings. She has acted as the primary associate in significant international arbitrations, including two parallel LCIA arbitrations concerning a West African mining dispute, breaches of contract, fiduciary breaches, bribery and economic torts.
Her recent work includes securing a Norwich Pharmacal Order against a major UK bank to assist in a cross-border fraud action and obtaining a favourable judgment in TCPC Management Ltd v Windrush Alliance UK CIC [2024] EWHC 809 (Ch), successfully defending a client’s commercial viability in contested winding-up proceedings.
Kayla also advises on complex estate and trust matters, including contentious probate and estate administration with foreign grants of probate.
